Required Certifications

As part of your training, you’ll graduate with the certifications needed to begin working as a dental assistant in Colorado. This includes your BLS certification, Dental Radiography Certification, and a Southern Colorado Dental Academy Certificate of Completion—ensuring you are prepared, qualified, and ready to step into a clinical setting with confidence.

Southern Colorado Dental Academy is an approved school through the Colorado Board of Private Occupational Schools, Division of Private Occupational Schools, Department of Higher Education. Approval is granted pursuant to the Private Occupational Education Act of 1981, Title 23, Section 101 et seq., C.R.S., reflecting our commitment to meeting established standards of quality and education.
